Something a little different today. Still film, just no models in the shots.

Yesterday was the first time in over two years that my parents had come into the city for a visit. Now, I must preface with the fact that they only live not but an hour and some change away. I do believe that the total miles is about 42 miles away. They are homebodies at heart and spend all of their time in the beautiful property. It is a rarity that they ever leave and take day trips anywhere, so this was a pleasant surprise. We made a full day of it starting with a meeting at my studio where my Pos helped me hand some art and assemble a cabinet that they got me as a gift. My Grandpa wanted to take a trip to The Tower Theatre - Apple Store and my Mom wanted to see my store. With a quick bite a Shake Shack, we headed back to my studio, grabbed our things and shipped off to Pasadena for an afternoon at The Huntington Library.

The Huntington Library actually used to be the sole property of a man back in the late 19th Century. He purchased the property well before the hustle and bustle that would eventually become Los Angeles today. a 35,000 square foot home, seemingly endless lands and a massive staff of butlers and grounds people. Now a museum of sorts, the property has been turned into a look into the past and stunning gardens sprawled across the stunning land. Japanese, Chinese, Rose, Desert, Cactus, Botanical, Herb and about any other garden you could think of exists on this plot of land. However, extravagant cannot even begin to describe the extent of these gardens. Each is more like a warp to a different reality across the globe. What I can say is that they are all just as beautiful as the lsat.

We spent the afternoon into the early evening waltzing around the grounds from garden to garden. Out of all of the options, we were only able to view and tour a couple of the extensive areas. I will most certainly have to go back to see the rest. It was so pleasant to be able to walk around these stunning areas with my AirPods in and piano resonating through my head. Peace and bliss is an understatement. Enjoy!

These were shot on Polaroid 600 Type Color film with a Polaroid SLR680 and Polaroid Circle Frame Edition 600 Type Color film, shot with a Polaroid SLR680.
