There is something special about meeting someone for the first time after establishing a friendship with them over the internet. Kyle and I have followed one another for several months now and I was elated that she was finally able to get out to California for a vacation and a trip to my studio.

Since my Sigma 50mm 1.4A is currently broken and I still have yet to send it into Sigma for repair, we had to stick to analogue. Some 120 through my Mamiya m645 and of course, Polaroids. I broke out a pack of film my dear friend Bret gave to me. A special edition film, not one that I would normally fancy to shoot, but I think it is a bit of fun. This was the second time I had used my SLR680 that I purchased from my friend Chris and I can tell you that I am going to deeply fall in love with it.

Kyle and I spent the late afternoon shooting and enjoying tacos at Guisado's into the last evening on Sunset Blvd. It is an amazing feeling when conversation flows just as it does through a phone. Yet another new friend. Enjoy!

These exposures were shot on Polaroid Originals Polaroid Edition 600 Type Color film with a Polaroid SLR680, Polaroid SX-70 Type Color film with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep and Fujifilm FP-100C Color Professional film with a Polaroid 600SE.
