Late last night I received a notification that my scans had been uploaded and were ready to view. I was like a little kid on Christmas morning as soon as I saw this notification. I would take the time to develop my own film... if I had said time. However, between working three jobs and trying to have a little bit of time for myself that is not possible.

I cannot develop my own film as time permits, but I can in fact scan my own film. With that said, I take these 'test' scans with a grain of salt. They basically balance the scanner for the first image of the roll and then send it through a drum scanner. This does not properly balance the tones of every image, but it gives me a good idea of what I am getting back on my negatives. The only purpose for these scans to me.

Today however, I feel that it is necessary and well warranted to share a preview you with you. This was my first time shooting with Ferrania P30 film and I can tell you that I will absolutely be favoring this film for B&W 35mm from now on. As I take these scans with a grain of salt, as should you. Just wait until I get these negatives in my hands and through my scanner with an extreme attention to detail. This image definitely is scanning darker than what I think it will through my scanner, but I rather like it. For now, enjoy this preview!

Thanks for sharing. This is powerful. Hope to see it when you have scanned the negative.

Thank you Del! I cannot wait to get the negatives back in the mail so I can scan through them and get a proper scan. Stay tuned and I appreciate you!
