Desert Vibe With Amber Marie (Patreon)

A slight delay due to a busy day at work, but I promise this set is worth the wait.

This was the third look of the day. Amber and I decided to spend out first day meeting as a full ay together shooting a gang of content. First starting in my studio then roaming out to this location. From Los Angeles we had to take the mountain passes ti get here. Slow speeds, windy roads and thousands of feet in elevation gain. The entire drive was filled with conversation, good music and getting to know one another beyond our public facing Instagrams. I can tell you that the second Amber and I met it was an immediate friendship, both of us felt extremely comfortable around one another. Along the way we made a couple stops off the curvy roads to take a gander at the breathtaking views. Of course, Amber ended up naked at one point for a couple photos in front of the view.

A little while later we arrived at location. I have shot here before and the road to this exact spot is a little disheartening. It seems as if the surrounding town has decided that this will be their dumping grounds for couches, tires, mattresses and honestly anything else that people did not have room for in their trash cans. When I think of this it is such a shame because this entire area could be so beautiful, just as it is in these images. Eventually when Amber and I found a clearing of trash, we pulled of and began to get into the zone. I parked my Jeep not fifty feet away from where we were shooting, but I kept finding myself running back to it to grab a different camera, reload film or switch lenses.

I can truly say, I do not think I have captured such great images of someone in the first time working with them. It normally comes later, but damn did we work seamlessly. Enjoy!
