If there is one person that I absolutely muse over for analogue it is indeed Reed. The images we are able to capture together on any medium is breathtaking to me, especially when it is on analogue.

Two days ago Reed stopped by to sign some Polaroids from our previous shoot and we had spoken about maybe shooting for this project I am currently working on that I have not announced or released yet. When she arrived I was mentally off. The previous night had a lot of strange emotion about what is happening in the world currently and it carried over into the morning. Instead of hopping right into it, we simply caught up and chatted. After about ten minutes I still felt off and not in the mood to shoot, but I went out to the patio, smoked a cigarette and got my head right. I am so glad I did.

Recently Polaroid Originals switched their name again. Yes, that is right... again. What was originally Impossible Project, turned Polaroid Originals turned Polaroid. I have some pretty strong opinions about they route of the company, their branding and targeted marketing. However, each time they have switched their name, along side came a new film formula. It was my first time shooting with the new Polaroid SX-70 Type formula. I did not purchase a pack of this Beta 4.0 film, which would have actually been 600 Type film for the Beta. The Chemistry is completely different and I cannot say how I feel about it yet because I have only shot it once in one type of light setting. The day that Reed and I shot these there was a thick layer of smoke from the wildfires casting over the entire of the Los Angeles skies. A warmer film in and of itself coupled with the tungsten light of the sun through smoke made for very warm images. I will have more updates in regards to my thoughts of the new chemistry when I can shoot it in different light settings.

These Polaroids, as always with Reed came out absolutely beautiful. I feel as if every time I get Reed in front of my cameras the results are better each time. We did end up shooting for my project and those Polaroids were shot on 669 Type film, but I will not be releasing those today because I am still working on the announcement. For now, enjoy these!

These exposures were shot on Fujifilm FP-100C Color Professional film with a Polaroid 600SE, Polaroid Originals SX-70 Type Color film with a  Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep, Polaroid SX-70 Type Color film with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep and Polaroid Originals I-Type Color film with the dreadful Polaroid Originals OneStep2.
