A Quiet Little Beach With Samantha Storm (Patreon)

Last year I met Samantha towards the end of April when we shot at her Airbnb in Santa Monica. We immediately hit it off and a friendship quickly ensued. She had come back out a couple months later for a short little vacation in California. We met up one day in the late afternoon after I had got off work. Location; Freehand Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. Samantha had booked a room for the night so we spent the afternoon hanging out by the rooftop pool, drinking and laughing. Later in the evening we went out to dinner at Bar Mateo for a good vegan meal followed quickly by sleep for our big day the next morning.

I decided that I wanted to take Samantha to my favorite beach in Southern California and that meant an hour and a half drive into Malibu. With a quick stop at the grocery store we had all that we needed; Towels, snacks and of course a six pack of beer for me and a variety pack of White Claw for Samantha. We packed up the car and shipped off to the beach. The best part about this 'quiet little beach' is that it is rarely crowded and this day was no different. A few people scattered across the beach, Samantha and I were able to find the perfect spot to set up shop and relax. Of course, I brought my cameras. After a little while of relaxing I pulled out my gear and we shot a little bit. With every shutter click I became more and more enthralled with the trip to the beach.

With a few hours passed under the sun, a few drinks and a nice tan, we packed up once again and walked back to the car. Next stop; food. Samantha told me that there was a restaurant that she had been to before in Malibu that was right on the water, so that is where we went. With a staggering thirty dollar parking fee, we parked, got a table in the sand and ordered an insane amount of seafood. We sat, ate amazing food and laughed. Oysters, crab legs, shrimp and clams; everything was so delicious.

I will forever remember every single little detail of this day. It was spectacular. Enjoy!
