Seems that I am spoiling you guys and gals with a steady stream of analogue content this month; hope you do not mind!

There is just something about our Polaroid One600 that I love. Any sort of film that we put into the camera, we always achieve the best results. This Polaroid falls into that statement easily. The other day we were in Joshua Tree National Park, yet again; but not complaining in the least. Reed was on a shoot with a photographer from New York and we quickly hit it off with them. Sometimes paid shoots are dreadful, but sometimes you meet really cool people like Peter, the photographer of this day. He was so down to earth, kind and open to me shooting whatever I wanted. When Reed is shooting with other photographers, I find myself mainly shooting a few film exposures of her across our array of cameras. Some on the F5, a couple on the Mamiya and of course; Polaroids!

Right before we left for the day, we ended up at our final stop in the park. It has some amazing shade and indirect sunlight, beautiful rocks and it was the perfect time to shoot some Polaroids! I picked up the SX-70, snapped one on there and waited for it to cook for a little to see how the image had come out. It is always nerve racking when you shoot an exposure; is it going to be over or under exposed? Is the framing right? Did I catch a blink? The image slowly started to appear on the film and I was stoked. I then picked up the One600 and shot a quick exposure for good measure with it; color this time instead of the SX-70 B&W. This is the final outcome. I am unsure what happens inside this specific camera, but I love it. This is a new top ten favorite, mainly because of the colors and the pose. Anyways, Enjoy!

This exposure of Reed was shot on Polaroid Originals 600 Type Color film with a Polaroid One600.
