It was a sad drive back to California from Phoenix. This was the only time we have not stopped and shot something in the desert. Out of our seemingly hundreds of trips to and from, we always shoot at least one photograph. However, 117º temperatures made us choose otherwise. I am not sure if all of you have experienced that kind of heat, but it is so hot that you feel like you are in an oven, your shoes begin to feel like they are melting to the ground and you instantly start sweating and feel like you can barely breathe. Arizona heat is no joke.

Thankfully, I have exposures to share with you guys and gals from other adventures through the desert. This was on our way home from Phoenix in Desert Center, California. We barely caught enough light to snap this Polaroid, it has no clear focus point, but damn do I love it. Enjoy! If you would like to call this exposure your own, please just message me directly here on Patreon!

Reed shot on Fujifilm FP-100C Color Professional film with a Polaroid Land Automatic 100.
