It's been a long time since I've made one of these, so I figured I should. The short version is that I've simply kept my head down, and I've worked almost entirely on a steady stream of commissions for the last few months.

I'll go into more details. For starters, I'm pleased with how commissions are going. They've boosted my 3D earnings about 3-4x as much as standard monthly patreon earnings. This is a pretty substantial increase. Last year, I worked on commissions on and off while working on them between other projects. They earned more money but didn't feel sustainable. Since re-opening commissions in August, I've primarily focused on commissions, and the rate I could work on them has been much more sustainable as a result.

The focus on commissions has meant little time on much else. I was working on a longer Ada animation. Over the course of a few weeks, I worked through some of its problems in the NLA editor and eventually got to a good foundation. I wanted to extend it a little for better pacing, but then decided to shelve it to focus on commissions. It's a big enough project that it's hard to fit it in the schedule.

As for other loops, they're in even worse shape. You remember how I was waiting for audio for many animations? I still don't have them. As much as I want to work on animations, and I have many ideas, I've become pretty disillusioned with working on them. From lack of audio to lack of time, they haven't worked out nearly as well as I wanted.

That said, I may actually have an animation coming up. I've been in talks with 3DAffect and they want to commission me for an animation with their OCs. That may not be too interesting to you guys since they won't be familiar characters, but I'm excited about the work. It will likely take more or less the rest of the month to work on, and I won't really be working on anything else in the meantime.

That's not to say there won't be any content. I've got a couple poster sets coming up at the very least. There's a commission with Isabela and Leliana that I'll post up at the start of the week. After that, there's actually a poster set of my own that I managed to finish. Let's just say she's a fan favorite.
