I've been mainly doing model work since finishing up Morrigan's animation. I've compiled a list of all the thing I needed to fix as I worked on the model plus advice from Icedev and Rigid3d. Pictures of the old version are on the left, new on the right.

Some of these fixes were already implemented by the time you got to see it in the animation.

I hadn't implemented any subdivision surface modifiers on any of the clothing. Rigid helped with that by setting edge creases on the clothing. Edge creases make it so that edges keep their sharpness while the rest of the model is smoothed out. He also greatly improved the materials for the clothing and hair.

Since then, I've worked to improve the shape of her clothing based on the body of the model. In general, I sculpted her clothes to fit the nude body better. I fixed up her glove so it no longer clips with her fingers. I also did a lot of work on her left shoulder. I fix the weight painting for the sleeve and shoulder pad, and I also created some corrective shape keys to further improve the shape.

Lastly, I worked a little more on her facial expressions. I redid some of her eyebrow shape keys that needed to be better. I also added a few shape keys for her nose too.

There's still a decent amount left to do. I need to add weight to her butt bones, as those bones currently have none. I need to fix the bones for her hair. Their positioning isn't great, and the weight painting isn't that good either. I improved it a little with my animation, but I want to do it better. I want to improve her necklace too since it often clips with her neck and shoulders.

Lastly, I need to fix her skirt. The original weighting was poor and didn't give a lot to work with. Rather ambitiously, I think I might have to do it from scratch.

The model has improved significantly, but there's still quite a bit left to do. I feel like I've learned a lot though, and my confidence with modelling is building.
