Excitement to begin a new scene quickly became frustration as I struggled to start work. It's fairly daunting coming into a 80-90 second scene. I usually start with lip-sync, and that would be a fairly simple place to start. But I'm not really all that pleased with the flow of dialogue and pacing of the scene. It would be a waste to do lip-sync if I end up changing some of the dialogue out. As it is, I've decided to get rid of most dialogue from the scene, and keep the moaning so it's more of a straightforward, slow/medium pace action scene. It still clocks in around 50 seconds, so it's more or less average scene length.

I'm also trying to consider the scene build. The latest collaboration loop I've done reminds me how good scene building adds to an animation. My scene build of the club has been fairly bare bones, which was mostly to get animation going and build it later. That said, it would probably be easier to add things in when I've got a fairly blank slate now rather than when the scene is broken up more. I've not done any edits yet, but it is something to consider.

And speaking of the latest loop, it seems people really liked it. I'd love to do more, but I'm not exactly sure what specifically people might want, or if it would distract too much from the movie. Still, I will try to do some more loops, so suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Any wip for this new scene? A short loop like the last one focused around any of the mass effect ladies would be good, could even just animate all of zizzero’s stuff if he’s ok with it

I'd hate for the cut dialogue for two reasons. Firstly, well, because its paid for, I guess. You hired the VAs and made an investment out of your own income, which hopefully we, your patrons, will help you recoup. And secondly, I cannot stress enough how much of an amazing job ZeroDiamonds did with her part. Not to downplay Ivan's work, but the centerpiece is Miranda and, subsequently, ZD's voice work. Hate to have her lines left on the chopping board. But, of course, you know better. As for Zizzero's work, he does a great job on the lighting and his setups are interesting. More collaborations, perhaps? I like the idea of Miranda getting willingly and pleasurably dominated. And your work is always a pleasure to behold.

As far as money goes, it's already spent. I'd rather keep the movie quality as priority than think about how much is lost in cut audio. But I suppose you could also consider, I expected around 10 minutes worth of audio from ZD, and it came out to more like 15-20. That's sort of why the movie blew up the way it did, as I tried to include basically everything.

To answer both of you on Zizzero, he's interested, but too busy to make any sort of commitment. I have a couple other posters of his I could try, but I'd like to space them out with my own stuff if I do them.
