This week, we’ve got the first Dungeon Backdrop of 2022, and a linked mini-eventure! Travel to Dunstone—Town on the Borderlands—and perhaps head across the Selka into the wilds of the Mottled Spire. This Dungeon Backdrop is the first in a new series set in and around Dunstone which we'll be supporting with mini-eventures. The Storyline document isn't ready yet—but look for it soon (along with the next Dungeon Backdrop instalment).

Unfortunately, due to scheduling commitments, we won't be able to release all three Dungeon Backdrops back-to-back. March is our birthday month, and let's just say…Retribution is in the air (particularly for all you 5e and OSR GM's out there).

About Ruin of Bleak Hill

The Mottled Spire’s wild, rugged uplands lie beyond the Selka River. Crumbling ruins and abandoned mines—the leavings of civilisation’s ebbing tide—dot the hills. One such place is the isolated wind-blasted ruin of Bleak Hill Manor. Here once dwelled the wizard-sage Ilmatar Tiera before her untimely death at unknown hands. The centuried ruin—decayed and crumbled—has alternately lain abandoned or served as the lair of marauders, bandits and worse. Now, however, events conspire to focus certain interested parties upon the ruin, and all such folk are in need of adventurers brave enough to dare the terrors of the Mottled Spire.

Where's My Stuff?

By the time you get this, you should have a message from me containing the special secret download codes for this week's book and this week's Monstrous Lair remaster. (Monstrous Lair #12: Medusa's Lair benefits from our new updated layout and text file enhancement.) Just drop them into your browser, and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, drop me a line, and I'll sort it out for you.

Thank You

Thank you for supporting Raging Swan Press in 2022. I hope you like this week’s books and that you can use them to have more gaming fun with your chums. I love the Monstrous Lair line, and I hope you find it as enjoyable and useful as I do.

Your support enables us to continue doing what we love—creating flavoursome and detailed supplements designed to help you (and me) run campaigns with less hassle and stress. I hope they make your campaigns better and your prep time less stressful.

Finally, it should come as no surprise at all that Everything is Better with Tentacles—particularly the things that dwell in a certain centuried ruin…
