Hello dear Patrons and followers,

Lately, I've been somewhat inactive on some social media platforms and even more so here, so I wanted to share with you everything that's been happening (including some real-life situations that are very relevant) to keep you informed.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I rescued a one-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie from a farm outside the city. She was completely locked up, malnourished, and in very bad shape. She had recently given birth, but with the little information we obtained, we found out that her puppies were sold, and she didn't even have the chance to spend some time with her babies. Her former owner, after profiting from her puppies, wanted to abandon her, but before that happened, my friend and I intervened.

We decided to name her Pandora. We brought her to the city, but my friend lives in a small space with several people, so we figured I would be the best one to foster her while she takes time to rehabilitate (since she's very scared of humans). So, for the past few weeks, I've taken on the task of sterilizing her, vaccinating her, feeding her very well, but more importantly, giving her the affection she's always deserved. This has taken up 85% of my time, as the dog required many medical exams and a lot of medicine to try to recover from her previous condition (I only had a little time to work on Lulusa's Long Nights XD). However, it's been worth all the effort and time because she's doing much better now and is starting to trust people a little more. It should be noted that since I decided to be step home for her, I must accept that she will soon leave my side. I cannot be her permanent home because I have not yet overcome the loss of my last pet (who was with me for 15 years), and I also have some short-term plans where it would not be possible to take her with me.

Right now, I'm going through the adoption process with some people who are interested in giving her a warm welcome into their homes, but it feels like I'm giving away a daughter 🥺. It hurts, it hurts too much, and I've cried for days trying to overcome the fact of the suffering this dog has gone through. I realized that I'm too emotional with animals, and I felt completely overwhelmed and affected by it, but I'm doing the best I can, and seeing this happy and calm face comforts me.

On the other hand, I've made slow progress on the MotW comic, but I hope to publish the next 4 pages in a couple of weeks.

For now, I'll spend some time coloring the sketches I made in the previous versions of Lulusa's Long Nights 10 and 11.

Here's a sneak peek of the beating Kelsier is taking 🤣.

Thank you very much for your support, time, and patience to read this post!

Both art and the more importantly the fostering are amazing works. Thanks for sharing this tale with us. Enjoy the time you can get and I hope that you can recover from the loss of your friend so that you can welcome another baby into your life.

Aw, you poor thing. I'm so sorry for the emotional time you're going through. But I want you to know that you're an absolute angel for taking care of the dog and finding a home for her. I've always rescued my animals (though they are always cats XD; ) but I could never foster for the exact reason you've talked about. *hugs* I'm even happier that I've chosen to support you every month now. <3 And my poor Kelsier! T_T

Its sad and im sorry about your experience, but you gave Pandora hope for a better life after her last owner abandoned her. You saved her, be proud of that, even in this better sweet moment. And Kelsier is being a punching bag.. how fun xD

Hang in there! You're doing a great thing for that poor girl, and atleast she's safe now! :) I'm sure everyone here will listen if you need to talk!

Def_Glitch

You are a phenomenal person! Please take time to recover!

Oh my, that's quite the story. 🥺🥺🥺 Pandora is such a lovely name and such a gorgeous dog! 😍 😍😍 I'm glad that she's under the care of someone who has a kind heart and soul toward. It's understandable that taking care of an animal can be a life changing task so no worries about the delay and hiatus. I know that companion pets can be seen as family so it's hard when you get attached to them. Almost like they're your child. The effort that you've put in shows how much you care about her even if its temporary. I'm glad that you and Pandora are doing well and I hope for wonderful things in the near future. P.S. Pandora laying on her back is a good sign that she's in a loving home. ^^

Its okay to put you and your family's well being first. Even with the new addition. We will be here waiting. For the moment, give all the best cuddles to Pandora✌😁

Holy hell, don't apologise for being inactive when you're going full night elf and helping that sweetheart. You and your friend are literally heroes helping her out. But here's to Pandora getting even better and finding a loving home
