While being sick, I was still making some good progress on the game.

First, I added a new intractable object for Bito in the platformer sections, Poles!

They act as ladders, making for quicker vertical movement. You can slide down them, hop up them, or leap side to side off them. Though when left to slide down Bito will perform a bit of a show, giving a nice finisher pose when landing on the ground. I was going to have Bito cycle through different poses, though the sprites still need to be made. The code side of it though is more or less done though.


Next up, another new character design! Some kind of mage.
For the recent summon plot I was working on, set in a fantasy world of knights and princesses. She is the person who gave the hero-knight the Boximp summon ticket. She is probably easier to talk to about Bito's gig since the hero is busy running around doing sidequests and hero stuff.


After that, some concept art for the BoxImp HQ!
The one in color is the hall of records Renae works in. The giant pillar in the center is a Rosetta stone like resource where Boximps are able to learn all the different languages they may encounter. Bito is very much panlingual. The other one is Bito's cubical, complete with a cardboard computer.


And Last, some 'key art' sketches.
I'm gearing up to get a Steam page up for the game ASAP, so I can start getting wishlists. I have a list of things I need to make first, and a big one is some proper banner art. I tried out a few different poses, with the top 2 being the main ones I was liking. I was also wanting to get some art done of Bito, Bossmann, Di, and Tayo.


There are a bunch of other things I have in the works as always, the game has a long way to go but progress has been steady.
