Samantha Taylor Sprites (Rough Sketches) by TiltSHIFT (Patreon)

Hey All,

This is CaptainCaption, and I have for you today the first rough sketches of the sprites for Samantha Taylor, Zach's mom, a woman who has had a profound effect on her son's life and hopes that trend can continue in her daughter's life.

Samantha Taylor is Zoey Taylor’s genius stay-at-home mom with a gorgeous body who looks extremely youthful, like she’s 35 at most (despite being 44). But for all her beauty, she’s a thorny rose who makes those who don’t handle her carefully bleed. Essentially, she’s a yandere who runs on a mix of love, sharp intuition, willpower, and mental illness.

This test of her design from NovelAI might give a better example of her as it has colors, but her body type isn't as accurate.

I cannot stress how excited I am for this woman to get art. Over the course of detailing her World Information entry, making the outline for Christmas at home in Keisuke's route, my natural taste in women skewing toward interesting and energetic psychos (all 3 of my exes are what I would refer to as "bad bitches"), having my tastes in anime women gravitate heavily toward black hair & red eyes as I have worked on re:Dreamer (I guess if you stare at something long enough you get horny for it), her brief but menacing phone calls with Zach, and her appearance in the blursed Mom Route, she has easily become my favorite character.

Drawn by TiltSHIFT, the same artist who has done Zoey's sprites and her CGs, the familiar resemblance is intended to be strong, yet each girl is distinct from the other as Samantha has:

• Smaller boobs than her daughter (Zoey's boobs are definitely a bit too big for my tastes).
• Hips that are slightly thinner than Zoey's (both definitely have a caboose though).
• Darker and neater hair than her daughter (it is actually black and has a very slight blue tint instead of being like Zoey's hair, which is a very dark brown that gets darker as the strands get longer).
• Brighter and pinker eyes than Zoey's (that glow instead of get duller when she pulls out her chilling yandere trick). They also have a more noticeable tsurime shape to give her a more "mature" face.
• A subtle amount of makeup worn at all times (Samantha is the type of woman who likes to dress nicely and put on makeup even when she's alone at home) (Zoey never wears makeup except slight amounts in Rich's route and in epilogues).
• A slightly lighter skin tone than Zoey's (Samantha is half-Japanese/half-German while Zoey is one-quarter Japanese, one-quarter German, and one-half mixed Polish and German immigrant ancestry from Milwaukee).
• A 5'3"/160 cm and 110 lbs/50 kg body (compared to Zoey's 5'4"/163 cm and 130 lbs/59 kg body).
• A noticeable wedding ring on her left hand and a small watch on her right wrist.
