Quick update on the progress for Agrss.
All the animations for the 1st build have been completed, and the programmer is now building the game.

I still need to design all the menus and UI, and this is what I settled on for the main menu.
I wanted to keep it minimal but also not look too flat. It would have a few of these art to cycle through.

Might seem dumb, but I've actually been kinda stuck on this for the past days.
Abstract art isn't something I've ever really done, so this posed a challenge. Making it minimal but not boring was also hard, but I'm happy with the result.

I think it's obvious by now that I'm being more artistic with this project instead of just doing something easier to do. This makes it take more time on top of the nature of game dev where there's more initial work like building the actual game, menus, etc.
I expect it won't take as long to update the game after the 1st build once all these systems are in place. Later updates also won't be as extensive with animations, as I wanted the prologue to have an impact.
