FIFA 2008 PATCH NOTES

·        230 teams as 2008-2009 season – List on the following link:

·        About 7000 added/edited players as 2012/2013 season.

·        All the 230 added teams have classic features of 2012/2013 seasons – Logos, kits, squads, banners, etc.

·        48 Managers of the most important teams – I can always add more in v2, as your suggestions.

·        All the big 5 leagues are done according to 2008-2009 season with FULL CLASSIC FEATURES of that season: Premier League, German Bundesliga, French League 1, Spain Primera Division, and Italian Serie A.

·        The best teams from some of second leagues are done – to get the promotion process as close to real life. So, you will find teams as Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers, Bari, Parma, Brescia, Nurnberg, Mainz, Freiburg, Montpellier, Lens, Real Sociedad, Real Zaragoza, etc – check the list of teams for complete list.

·        Beside the all the big 5 leagues that are done, the best club teams from other leagues are done as 2008-2009. You will be able to find teams as: Anderlecht, Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV, Benfica, FC Porto, Sporting, Steaua Bucharest, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, Palmeiras, Santos, Atletico Mineiro, etc. – Regarding your support and suggestions, I would like to add more teams.

·        English Championship, French League 2, Spanish Segunda Division, Italian Serie B and German Bundesliga 2 has all the same teams as 2008/2009 – the teams that are not done in the list are done as generic.

·        Rest of Europe League has been added with the most important teams of Europe as: AE Larisa (Greece), HNK Rijeka (Croatia), Dnepr (Ukraine), Vojvodina (Serbia), Red Star Belgrade and Partizan (Serbia), Metalist Kharkiv (Ukraine), Spartak Moskow and CSKA Moskow (Russia) and Levski Sofia (Bulgaria).

·        Rest of the World its also full of the best classic European teams at that time, for a great and full experience of European Competitions. I’ve added or upgrade as 2008-2009 teams as: Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split (Croatia), Slavia and Sparta Praha (Czech Republic), AEK, PAOK, Panathinaikos, Olympiakos (Greece), Zenit (Russia), Shaktar Donetsk, Dynamo Kyiv (Ukraine) and Bate Borisov (Belarus).

·        New National teams added are: Brazil, Austria, Cameroon, Greece, Ivory Coast, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey and Uruguay. All the new added national teams have full classic features according to the 2012-2013 season.

·        You can play with Brazil in any tournament in kick-off or tournament.

·        All the rest national teams are done as 2008-2009 season with full classic features (players, kits, logos, etc.) so basically, when you will be playing in Manager Mode and you will be National Team Manager, you will be able to get the full experience of the international tournaments as 2008-2009 season.

·        Players that were free agents or on the teams that are not in the game are as free agent (example Rivaldo, Ronaldo, etc). Also retired players just before 2008-2009 -  Bergkamp, Deisler, Shearer, Parlour, Fowler, etc – are in the game as free agent.

·        The music menu has been changed – I had inserted the songs from all the old FIFA Games. Also, the menu has classic elements, the main menu players has been changed to classic players of that time. The music and the menu elements bring you the classic nostalgia of the 2008-2009 season.

·        Classic balls – Adidas Ch. League Final 2008-2009, Adidas Super Cup 2008-2009, Euro 2012 Ball, Euro 2008 Ball, WC 2010 Ball, Nike Premier League 2008-2009 Ball, Europa League 2008-2009 Final Ball, Nike Total 90 Ascente 2008-2009, Puma Ligue 1 2008-2009 Ball, Adidas Ch League Orange Version Ball, Adidas Finale 9 Champions League 2009-2010 Ball, Club World Cup 2008 Ball, Beach Soccer World Cup 2009 ball, FIFA Confederation Cup 2009 Ball

·        You will start the career on 2008, having next World Cup Tournament in 2010 and next EURO Tournament in 2012, exactly as in real life was.

·        World Cup Tournament Licensed.

·        Introduced UEFA Intertoto Cup - is playable only in the 1st season, in 2nd season the tournament will disappear – the same as real life.

·        Real OVR and potential of players according to 2008-2009 season and real-life evolution – for example Neymar was 16 years old with 68 OVR and 91 potential – you will be able to transfer and grow him to the maximum potential. You will be able to find Messi and Ronaldo in the best shape of their career and so on, all the details based on REAL LIFE PERFORMANCES.

·        All players have their real age as of 2008-2009 season so they will retire regarding their age.

·        Real budget of transfers according to 2009-2009 season for all the teams.

·        You have the option to play with the value of the players as the season 2008-2009 (Choose Dollars or Euros Currency for that) OR as “crazy” values that are today – please choose Pounds Currency for that – the budgets are set regarding the currency you are setting.

·        Transfers values are about the value the players had on transfermarket.co.uk as 2008-2009 season.

·        You can play Manager Mode regarding 2008-2009 season with all the features which were mentioned in this document. You will start the career in 2008 and you will finish in 15 years after.

·        Faces customized as season 2008-2009.

·        Real Flags and Banners for all the mentioned teams and more.

·        Looking forward for your feedback. I can add in v2 the teams that you consider that I am missing, the goal being to finish at least the main important leagues with full classic features!

·        Unlocked hidden clothes and boots (you can use them in mod manager).

·        The patch is compatible with all the existing languages.
