Suddenly, someone tapped from outside the porthole.

Chihaya turned her face in surprise. Then she she then saw Aya's face, outside the porthole and upside down. Smiling, she held up Chihaya's swimming goggles in her hands and placed them against her face.

“Aya…” She was now like an underwater acrobat, curling her body tight and doing a somersault to an upright position. She then casually took off her swimming goggles. They must have been full of water anyway. It was good that she hadn’t drowned, but seriously, how can she play so calm with saltwater in her eyes?

"Aya, you scared me..."

Chihaya tried to smile back, but the next moment her lips tightened. Outside, Aya was bracing her throat with both hands. She had erased her playful smile and appeared to be frowning and writhing in pain. She soon puffed out her cheeks and started blowing air bubbles out of her mouth.
