Hello our dear patrons,

We would like to let you know that you may notice a small change in our patron structure at the end of October. The current "Cobalt" Tier (with its commission request privilege) will wind down and its the current patrons will be requested to transfer to other Tiers starting in the month of November - no longer accepting new membership. This has been communicated to the existing (15 or so) members of Cobalt members already and is now being rolled out to all our pledging patrons.

This has been a difficult decision, given that Cobalt has been very popular and is credited with giving us a wide patronage/viewership base and that has kept savaster site, as a whole, successful. However, this attention has also become a challenge over the years due to limitation of time, as Saver saw growth in other non-Patreon projects while his health conditions have not been very optimal. It has been a regret that we have had to put newcomers seeking Cobalt membership on a waitlist that seemed to only grow, while it has become increasing difficult to even keep pace with the current three-month rolling commission cycle. Alternately, we could possibly have hiked up the pledge amount to curve demand, but that response seemed very blunt and alienating and was not something we wanted to pursue. Thus we have decided to pause and take a fresh start as far as commissions go. We haven't fine tuned our thoughts yet, but launching a new, simple platform with relatively small transaction costs seems like a very likely option. There will definitely be more to come on this front.

Cobalt members,

As we are addressing the last of the current cycle commission requests, you have an option to do either of the following - as we cannot just relocate you from our end: a) transfer to another Tier; or b) continue to stay around in Cobalt, which will be renamed to "Honorary Cobalt" or something to demonstrate its nature has changed. And should not be able to transfer in time and get overly charged, no worries as we could refund you as needed. Please just let us know.

And...

Lastly, thank you for all your understanding and support. We cannot emphasize enough how we appreciate your patronage and that your presence is what drives us forward. In this turbulent and unpredictable times, may we have more of the 'breathtaking' and 'breathstopping' moments together.

(And for those who are curious, the pic is young Eri)

I never managed to get into the cobalt tier as they have been sold out for so long. So to see it end is a bit sad. But I totally understand the reason behind and fully agrees with it. I just hope that one day when Saver get more healthy that he will be taking commission again ^^

I'll bump up to the Navy Tier, just to kick a little more cash your way. You guys do good work, and I want to support that. One question, though - will the tier rewards for Navy be changing as well? Since Cobalt commissions will no longer be a thing, and looking back at the archives there hasn't been updates on "Melancholy swim team member" in some time...

young Eri, like 24 years is old :DDD very nice pic saver, hope your health improves in time!

Yes, if cobalt stops, "Melancholy swim team member" will continue. :-) --SAVER--

I never got to be part of the tier, and would’ve loved to have seen some of my ideas be brought to life by a master, but I completely understand. Health comes first. P.S. “Young” Eri? So like Aya or Saki’s age? Would love to see more of that.

I understand why commissions are ending. I may stick with the soon-to-be-renamed Cobalt tier, but the Navy Tier seems to have more perks now. Decisions, decisions...

Suddenly found available on cobalt → ecstatic to join and find this announcementΣ(°Д°;...anyway, I finally become a member of cobalt after so many years lol Totally understand the reason, healthy is first,I personal think skeb or pixiv commission will give you more freedom time and no pressure to drawing~

But the problem with that is that Saver deleted his Pixiv a few years back for personal reasons. But I do agree that it exist other ways for commissions to be done.
