"Okay...where do we want to start?"

Alpha is standing on the rugged terrain of Awazaki Point, the southeastern tip of Miura Peninsula and essentially the outermost edge of the world as she knows it to be.  The winds blew strong against her face, but the numerous clear tide pools, as she hopped from one boulder to another,  pleasantly warmed her feet with the afternoon sun.  

This is the first of Misaki Diaries, our new travelogue stype series - to be told by the heroines of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou of Misaki country (i.e. the southern half of Miura Peninsula, Kanagawa, Japan) which many of them call home and is the stage and backbone of the Yokohama stories.
