I could understand that. But don’t Saver have other stories who also have a sea maiden? Because I don’t remember if they are in separated worlds, or if they have an connection.

「Dr Stone」みたいに、全世界石器時代。。。というのではなく、軽（繊維）工業など部分的に技術は残っていて交易もあるのでしょう。ただエアタンクなんかの開発に必要な冶金や空圧技術はなく、ゴムパッキンも失われているので水中眼鏡もありませんｗ

Synthetic fiber offers protection against underwater cuts and infections, which has given leverage to this specific gatherer village (their domain happened to sit on a garment warehouse with had been kept air-tight due to accumulated sediment). But they have no access to rubber, metal treatment, or pneumatic valves, meaning no air tanks, hoses, or goggles...:-)

ありがとうございます。鋳物であれば、鍛練や合金技術がなくてもいけるかも。まあ「強度に乏しく、深海でしばしば割れてしまう」「（送気する技術がないので）減圧症になる」という大きなデメリットがありますが、お話の展開上生身では到達できない大深度に行くので使う羽目になったり。。。ｗ

深度300メートルの遺物を回収する！とか言って、大深度で割れるのが前提で使う、なんてのもアリかもですね。だんだん内部の水位も上昇してきて、圧潰するタイミングで思い切り呼吸ー＞水中活動開始とかｗ

潜水鐘は原理的に圧壊する危険はあまり無いと思いますが、送気装置がないのは不便ですねｗ複数の潜水鐘を一定時間毎に入れ替えるか、空気の入った樽でもつかうか。何か事故が起こった場合、直接海面へと浮上して減圧症になるか、頑張って別の潜水鐘にたどり着くかの選択を迫られたりしそう。

世界設定上、粘土や燃料が希少と思われるので、陶器はかえって高価かもしれません。原理的には底面が解放されていて、空気の漏れない容器ならなんでもいけるはずなので、雑多なサルベージ品を使っているというのはどうでしょう。宮崎御大考案の鉱山用トロッコとかｗ

I think in principle you could build a diving bell with a strong timber framework lined with oil-treated fabric. However, if you want to work at -300 metres, to get an air volume of say 20 litres at depth (which is only 2 or 3 good lung-fulls) you would need to start with 600 litres at the surface. So you would need to attach weights of about 600 kilograms to make it sink. That would be difficult to handle at sea, if you only had small boats. If the diver filled her lungs from the bell at depth, she would be able to last a long time before her next breath - at least an hour and most likely very much longer. But then she would need to ascend slowly. Perhaps the diver(s) should stay in the bell as it is gradually hauled to the surface. That would at least give some chance of surviving. Overall, the divers would probably last about as long as fighter aircraft pilots in the First World War...
