It seems this facility is indeed fairly crazy, as this woman is operating at a depth of 25 meters where they have the deep water condo unit..

Also, the pool's maximum depth is 60 meters - I am puzzled by this because PADI's Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) certificate will only let you scuba dive down to 30 meters' depth. Even if you qualify as a Speciality Deep Diver, your max is still 40m. So 60m is for extremely adept/talented free divers only?

Oh yes 60 meter is only for either master freedivers or scuba divers that are using a trimix. But the freedivers sounds more interesting so let’s stick with that ^^

Is it a Nitrox situation? Can’t divers with the right blend of gases go much deeper? And it is a shame, in a way, that the pool is so deep, as then freedivers focus on simply getting to the bottom rather than lengthening their breathhold. And I don’t have to tell you that most of the visitors seem to be novice freedivers at best, hardly able to do ten meters. I can go deeper than that with a snorkel!

Oh yes divers which the right blend can go much deeper. Like 2 to 5 times then 60 meters. But then the deeper they are and the longer they stay the longer time they will have to decompress. Meaning that most of your time will be spend on the way up. Rather then exploring and doing other fun stuff
