as you can see by the image: it's finally happening. pre-orders will open in january. we'll have to sell a minimum of 200 to get it made, but will make however many get funded even above that amount. a beautiful 12" orange record: BANDETTO BEST SELECTION.

i was able to collaborate with the endlessly talented AQ McArson (who also workedon ARGOS, WANDERLUST, and 2YR) and Brook Chipman (who also worked on 2YR) for the cover art, and it turned out gorgeous.

here's the tracklist:

 • A1 amnesiac
 • A2 hard hop 9th system
 • A3 speedy snail
 • A4 higher higher higher
 • A5 need u
 • B1 baby so hardcore
 • B2 radiata (semiVIP)
 • B3 rhythm guide
 • B4 fierce fortune
 • B5 nova fire

i think that's a pretty solid selection. the record is pretty packed, so it might be cut a little bit quiet, but it's worth it, i think.

again, the funding and pre-order stage will happen in January, and pre-orders will be open for 1-2 months! so you have a while to get your order in. after that, it can take up to 8 weeks to get the records made and sent out (sometimes a little longer), so some patience is required.

this may be the last update of the year - i have a ton of orders to get out over the next week, and at the same time have some pretty serious personal stuff to deal with. sorry that things have been a little sparse, but i hope you can agree that the output has been interesting enough to be worth it.

thank you so much for your support, and i'll be back soon, if not with more music, then at least with some news for the near future. lots of love, happy holidays, and please, take care of yourselves. if you ever need help or are dealing with personal issues, please reach out to somebody you trust, or to a help hotline. there's always somebody there for you.

Happy holidays, stay safe. Record looks great! Ever consider going through Diggers Factory for crowdfunding? They're purpose-built for limited runs of vinyl. https://www.diggersfactory.com/

I'd like to say two things about your recent pace and output. Personally, I very much enjoy and appreciate the way things are done recently. Sure most things are taking more time than before but it does feel like you're putting more into them. You've come a long way from pumping out stuff like the createspace CDs. Now you're sending out pine scented cassettes in cardboard cases. Secondly, like you said, take care of yourself (and those around you). I may not know what personal things you're dealing with but by all means deal with them in whatever fashion you need to. Your supporters have said this many times and I'm sure they'd all say it again. We get it, take the time off that you need to get better, even if it does slow your pace. Happy holidays.

I have been waiting for this for so long. Ty so much. Is there going to be a back cover btw? Curious :) Im glad to have supported you for so long. As with everyone here, i hope i can continue to support your endeavors for as long as you create. Thx for pushing the envelope constantly.

lapfox

there will be a back cover, of course! it's just not designed yet, along with the record labels themselves.

lapfox

as far as i am aware, yes. however many are ordered will be made.

I'm so very excited for this release, it looks amazing and the tracklist is also amazing! I also agree with Reynard where yeah things are taking longer but the quality is very worth it. Both in your music as a whole and your physical releases, you've seriously come so far and it's been great to be around this year to see it. I remember when physical releases were just a whenever thing and now we basically have one for each month, it's crazy. And as I said last time, I hope everything will be okay for you and we love you dearly dude. I would not be where I am today without you, truely. Have a good holiday and take however long you need to sort things through.

This looks amazing! Even though I don't have the means to play it right now, it'll definitely be the second record I'll play once I do (I'm sorry, but my mom's Hotel California is forever first, heh). I've been a fan of yours for going on a decade next year. Through that decade, there's certainly been ups and downs, but I'd never trade any moment over the years for anything. Whether a release hits or misses with me, it is always an experience I never want to forget. No matter what happens, no matter how stupid and prissy I get about things sometimes, I am always grateful. I honestly don't know where I'd be as an artist without you. Your music was the impetus for me to take a second look at my dinky base FruityLoops 5 and give the whole music making thing another shot. As for your output: have things really changed?! In place of many digital releases, you augment your bigger projects with a huge physical presence, like CDs, cassettes, shirts, and even vinyl now. I can remember when stuff like this was a dream scenario, and now it's a common thing! It's incredible to behold. I've said it before, and like everyone else, I'll say it again: if you need to take a break for any reason, by all means, don't hesitate to take it! You're the hardest working producer I know, and it's more than okay to slow down and sit a spell. You don't have to worry about us! We'll still be here when you get back. If you need to take care of something in your life, please don't feel bad about doing so. We'll always be here to support you in any way we can. Here's hoping everything will be alright! Thank you for being you, Ren. Happy holidays and peaceful tides. <3

"HLV-001" I see we're changing from the LF naming scheme. That cover looks *marvelous,* I cannot wait to own it. As far as taking a break goes, do what you gotta do, we're all human.
