why would you want these? i dunno! they have a particular quality to them that i think some people might find pleasing. they're loaded with hiss and rumble (no dolby noise reduction on these) which is all very nostalgic and has a certain atmosphere to it.

as you can see, even new cassettes (due out for sale later this week) are included in these downloads.

Thanks for sharing these, Ren! Could you, by any chance, upload lossless copies of these rips (FLAC or WAV or something)? These MP3s already sound great, I admit, BUT my inner perfectionist/archivist would really love a lossless copy. I pledge a $140 tip on my next Halley Labs purchase for your time/trouble, if you can do it ;)

wow, $140! unfortunately, i won't be posting FLACs of these, but i've done quality comparisons and the quality loss is fairly negligible on these given that they're already pretty pretty banged-up sounding.

swat's on the Future Bullshit cassettes and end of ice has merged with source of ice I do like when there are little things that differentiate from the original albums, like with ♥️♥️♥️ on knight Excited to pick these up
