Cool! I think it's the neatest thing ever when EM recordings get incorporated into music. There's something utterly magical about signals normally outside the human sensory regime being converted into something we can appreciate. Think I remember you doing this sort of thing before with recordings from power lines or your PC or something? What did you you source the sounds from this time?

plenty of things this time around; car engines, out the window driving down the highway, laptops, phones, game consoles, guitar amps, etc

Idk if you get aurora borealis up in Ontario, but they generate some pretty frantic and weird noises. You could even use a TV satellite dish to focus their radiation onto your electrousi if you get too much interference from ground sources. With that set up, I bet you could even listen to strong local sources like Jupiter and the sun!
