This one was started and nearly finished on stream last week. This image felt more important to me because it made me change the way I approach drawing people.

By that, I meant that I am starting more with silhouettes using the darkest shade of color that I think will be used, filling in that silhouette, and then layering with lighter colors to create the shape and shadows as I go. This is similar to how I work with oil pastels.

The backdrop is done more or less the same way I always have done simple landscapes. The newest thing I got to try out was painting fire and a vehicle (which was easier than I thought it'd be).
