My friends, this ruined landscape was a nice challenge not only because of its composition, but also painting. Because most of the scene is build from styrofoam, this meant I couldn't use any enamels besides the dud shell. Painting everything with acrylics has its own ups and downs, and sometimes the process feels very counter-intuitive compared to enamels or oils. Especially when you're painting the groundwork!

It certainly gave me some confidence for any future projects, and unlocked new ways of painting various effects such as rust, rubble, cracked concrete (even if it's not made from cork) and others!

This week was very complicated, there was another medical emergency in the family which left me quite exhausted at the beginning of the week (both physically and mentally), and it seems that I'm getting ill as well. Limbs and eyes hurt, so I hope it's just some common cold!

Now I just need to paint the figure and it'll be all ready for a pretty epic video! :)
