My friends, the leakage problem wasn't such a problem after all and I managed to finish this little diorama today!

You'll see in pictures 2-3 how the bubbles looked after the first layer solidified. They left two small holes in the resin, but these were filled with the subsequent layer, and this one dried to the usual glass-smooth finish.

The mixing ratios were 60ml of resin and 7 drops of Khaki Drab for the first layer, and 60ml + 4 drops of paint for the second one, although I didn't use all 60ml for the second pour.

Water ripples were then added by stippling AK Water Gel in a very thin coat. I also applied this gel on the sides after cleaning the tape residue with lacquer thinner. Overall, if the bubbles didn't occur, this would've been the best water I've done so far!

In order to hide the bubbles I added some floating debris. Leaf scatter + lasercut leaves from Model Scene. First I brushed the entire surface with diluted Still Water and then sprinkled the scatter. This way it wouldn't get soaked with the water and turn dark as was the case in the Mark IV diorama.

The figure wasn't as easy to paint as I hoped... try painting a face if a hand is in your way! :D But it was a rather smooth job. I painted his body yesterday and today was about skin tones, hair, and the wristwatch.

Finishing touches were about spraying some Ammo Shaders on the eroded river bank to smoothen out the dark staining created by epoxy resin, and brushing some Wet Effects Fluid on the turret sides to smoothen and possibly hide the resin crawling up the turret.

So yeah, that's pretty much it! Onward to the next project, and because a few people requested a winter scene, it'll be something along those lines! But first, gotta get the video ready!
