I've been thinking about this idea since yesterday. On one hand, I want to "try something new" with every model this year, but this idea is just too good! And I wanted to build a proper, heavily textured, completely beaten-up IS-2 for YEARS!

I also found new love for tall dioramas with a lot of vertical volume, so this setting fits that perfectly. It also presents the tank under a very dynamic angle. Everything on these photos has TEXTURE!

But I always wanted to build that famous IS-2 432 with a bear painted over the red star. So it'll be that one, put into this setting. I already have PE fenders for the Tamiya kit and some figures from Alpine and PanzerArt in my stash. I'll snatch some Friuls from an old IS-3 I plan to throw away, and I just ordered the kit, a metal barrel and some extra PE details.

Please, remind me when I'm done with the A7V that this should be the next diorama, okay?! 🤣

PS: I forgot... I already have a name for the diorama.... Bear Crossing!

I like the subject that you have chosen for your next project. I look forward to seeing this come together Martin
