My friends, I can close the interior so all of this will never be seen again🤣

Before the weathering commenced, I divided it into sections depending on how visible they were going to be. The front section with the cannon has been left in basic colors and a pin wash. The missing side armor doesn't even have a pin wash. The roof has some washes and details picked out in a lighter color. The rest... well, it was weathered in a simplified manner, but I still wanted to make it look somewhat good.

One hack I learned along the way: dry-brushing is a pretty damn good way of quickly adding chipping effects. Pretty much every edge was dry-brushed with Vallejo Dark Rust and the rest was carried out with a sponge and speckling. The super uncomfortable stools for MG gunners look rather soiled than chipped 🤣 but hey, they needed some visual texture!

The obligatory rust effects followed, my thinking was that this interior had to be pretty wet thanks to the large ventilation openings on the roof. Then some more detail painting such as the leather seats, some 3D printed grenades and the MG ammo cans. Interestingly, their design was the same as in WW2... If something works, there's no need to improve it even if it's between world wars, I guess!

Finally some subtle earth washes with Rainmarks Effects and Earth from Ammo, and while they were still wet, I added dark stains with Brown Wash for German Yellow from AK.

The 3 walls were carefully fitted and fixed with superglue. It seems like everything will fall together without any terrible fit issues, so once I film and photograph the finished interior, I'll be able to close everything and "finish" the construction stage for this model.

Have a great weekend everyone! The build video is coming out next Friday!

That interior is amazing could you not have a panel blown off to show it all off ?
