Well, it's just a diorama fetus right now, but it already gives you a clear idea about the finished scene 😊

First of all, thank you for being patient with me. I think my personal struggles are behind me, and despite not being able to focus on modelling at all over the past two days, today I was finally able to be productive, and more importantly, creative! This being a third, and final, composition of the scene should be a testament to that!

I decided to break the rules a little. Normally, with a rectangular base, you'd set the primary viewing angle on one of the longer sides. But heck, why not look at the scene from the shorter side, especially if it makes the scene more dramatic, and, technically speaking, more historically accurate (see the last picture)?😁

The white areas will be covered with water, while the blue portions are edges of craters. I'll try a new, pretty radical medium for the terrain, something that should surpass air-drying clay and acrylic textured paste, combined!

The resin figure from Black Dog is, well, it's not state of the art. It's hand sculpted and some of the craftmanship is a bit rough around the edges, but it looks nice imo. I just love the truncheon on his shoulder, and I "upgraded" it with some PE barbed wire.

Seeing how much water there will be, I'm getting worried if one 180ml package of resin water will be enough. But if I make it really shallow and create the illusion of depth with paints, it should be okay! If not, I still have a huge bottle of Still Water, but that's a very long way until we get there!
