My friends, the most time consuming part is finally done (at least I hope this was the most time consuming part 😁)

I tried something new on the tracks... as you can often observe in reference photos, tanks operating in the desert don't have polished tracks, not at all. I've done this effect already on the T-90 and the Crusader, but this time I wanted to try something else, so I painted all contact points with silver and then gave them some rusty oil paint washes. The result provides subtle contrast which might look interesting once the tracks are covered with dust tones.

Apart from that, painting rubber on the wheels wasn't fun at all, but that was to be expected 😁 And the blue-white box on the fender was a real treat. Also, if you look closely on the jerry can, the 20L lettering is clearly legible, which is super impressive for a 3D print in 1/48th scale!

So now I'll make a video out of this and the next step will be piling some rubble and debris on the tank.

Also, I wish you a beautiful weekend my friends, it's gonna be warm and sunny, with a chance of barbecue here 😁

Hey Uncle, is there any chance you could put the lamp cage into you 3D printed files please.

Can I just say, when I saw these images and recent video. I was in pain with a severe toothache. Seeing the latest up date was the only thing that got a smile out of me for a few days. So much so, my partner said only me looking a tank porn would make me smile with toothache. I was like yeah but look at the shading love, it's fantastic....

Hey Mac, it's not my 3D model, it was done by a friend at Offset Scale Models, he's selling them as finished prints :)
