Brick shed, let's go! (Patreon)

My friends, it's time for some construction work, and luckily I won't run out of bricks because I've made a few thousands of them 🤣
There's also a real life reference photo which I'm loosely replicating, just the ground won't be so bright and happy! I think this will be very interesting, there's so much stuff to do but I already have a somewhat clear plan in my head. So I won't go too much into that because who knows how it'll all end up, but let's talk about bricks.
Well, as you see, I've cut them from foamcore on the hot wire cutter. First I made thin slabs which are around 2 mm thick. Then I've cut those into 2mm wide strips, and those were then cut into 8 mm long bricks. I then poured them all into a water bottle and added a bunch of jagged rocks in there, and gave it a REALLY good and long shake. Those rocks created a nice subtle texture and also rounded the edges on most bricks.
The most annoying part was the corner where bricks have to overlap. I had to cut them under 45 degree angle and create "fake" bricks that go around the corner. The visible glued joint was then filled with wood putty which I'll use for the mortar as well.
One wall done (I'm keeping the uncovered section for later when I glue a balsawood "wall" from behind, so everything fits snugly), another to go, and now I also need to make a door and a window!
Oh and I'm absolutely drained, so I'll get back to y'all tomorrow morning 😊
