My friends, last night I pulled a long session until 2am but it has definitely brought some results.

Let me say it again, airbrushing the base coat is an awesome method, it makes the whole process so much easier! But it's definitely not some kind of magic shortcut. For example, I spent 6 hours on the loader guy in HBT coveralls picking out lights, shadows and details with a brush.

But now we're getting into a small trap which I was expecting and afraid of - as expected with a beginner, the learning curve can be often rather steep, and before you know it, your second figure looks much better than the first one. Which kinda sucks if they're meant to stand next to each other.

So what to do? For now I'll leave it as is and move on to the third guy, and IF I have some spare time I'll improve the tank commander - add more contrast to his pants and probably completely repaint his jacket.

Also, let me say that the loader figure is hands down the best sculpt I've ever seen. Not that I've seen much, but it's seriously incredible. There's not a single imperfection that would tell you it was sculpted by hand, it's crazy.

And last but not least, today I have a bunch of stuff to do (as usual on weekends lol), so I'll get back to everyone a bit later, or try to reply in smaller bits and pieces! :)
