My friends, with another video out of the way it's time to make some progress. Today I managed to put all the rust washes in place. Well, it was just one rust wash because I only used Streaking Rust Effects. So this makes the chipping finished and tomorrow I'll start painting the stowage.

What I noticed while blending the rust tones is how they behave over Panzer Grey. While they add a ton of depth to green finishes, they can turn a grey finish into something that just looks like rusted steel... it's mainly because grey is a great base coat for raw steel surfaces - that's why I use it for stuff like spare tracks, exhausts, tools etc. As such, I had to apply them very sparingly and blend them a LOT. So yeah, just a small thing worth keeping in mind when you're painting a grey tank.

The stowage is scaring me! There's so much of it, and everything should be painted in at least slightly different color. I'm hoping it won't be TOO colorful in the end, but I guess we'll see soon!
