Now I can make the video 😁 Last time I covered the Rutscher in mud, then made a vid, then made another video about the tracks, put them on at the end, and then I had to take them back down again because I didn't polish the metal surfaces on the idler and sprocket.

This way the wheels look more complete (even though they aren't yet) and once I finish the tracks, I can put them on and they'll stay on 😊

The polished metal was the usual routine, sand the paint down, then paint it over with silver Tamiya paint, and polish, but this time not with graphite, but with metallic black VMS pigment, which is just as good as pure graphite (I guess it is pure graphite, which is rare since most metallic pigments are mostly filler and therefore aren't very shiny).

So, today will be about putting the video together, and then maybe we'll finish the tracks over the weekend? Hope so! 😊

Ooooo looking good Martin. I love just how all the previous steps start to come together in that, some of the individual steps seem subtle but altogether they make a huge difference. I’m looking forward to seeing the tracks go on, It’s one of my favourite things to happen even on my own subjects

Thanks Eric, yeah I can't wait for the tracks too. I feel like the weathering is lacking a few more effects here and there, but I'll be smarter when the tracks are on.
