Not bad methinks 🤔

One thing I quickly realized is that when dealing with delicate parts such as this, it might be useful to actually exaggerate some of the details. After comparing the printed part with a detailed photo of the real thing (this is a ring that goes around the gun barrel) I made the bolt heads and the raised inner part 0.1mm taller. Let's just hope the next print won't fail again 😅

A quick note: yes the 3D part has smaller inner diameter than the PE. That's because the photoetched part is meant to be glued around a pre-molded raised section on the gun, but since the real thing is a single piece, I printed it the way I did 😉

Also, I'll try printing hexagonal bolt heads of different sizes starting at 0.4mm, which is less than regular punch tools go. This might be a gold mine for detailing any type of model, just print them in large bulks!
