Well, I took my time with the oil paints and didn't manage to finish the turret today. Oh well, I'll instead go to sleep earlier than usual and finish it tomorrow.

Pretty much kept using the same oils like I did earlier today on the zimmerit and I totally went to town on this one - it might save some time later as some parts already look like finished pieces 😄

I also blended some light grey over the pz.grey parts because I found them to be too dark in contrast with the rest. This was blended in a more random pattern to somehow bring some of that distressing back. By bringing it back I don't mean it went anywhere, it's just the huge amount of contrast between the dark and light areas that makes the subtle distressing negligible. Something worth keeping in mind for the future.

Anyway, I think that'll have to do for today!
