🏴‍☠️ Captain Jingles! PERSONAL (Patreon)

Everyone say hello to my newest character, Jingle Jangle! Or more commonly known as Captain Jingles, or just Captain! She’s rarely seen without her parrot  companion, who is named Crackers.

Jingles is captain of the ship, The Glory, along with her crew! The other crew members are owned by my friends, and we’re developing these guys together as a group project to exist in our pony au! It’s insanely fun, the idea came to me yesterday while I was on the train and this girl has quickly become my favourite oc right now, I am so so obsessed with her

Captain and her crew are a tight knit group of rag tag ponies who sail all across Euponia to explore new lands and find treasure! She is a very happy go lucky captain, always referring to her crew as her family, making sure everything is all ship shape and everyone’s spirits are always high. Captain is known for her very bold and over the top personality, always cracking jokes and being very dramatic with her story telling. At the end of a long voyage, she will sit with the crew and tell them the gruelling tales of how she received her battle scars! Making sure to go super in depth and very theatrical with her retelling of the events. However, the crews Doctor who also happens to be Jingle’s partner is always quick to remind everypony of the more truthful series of events, and how the two scars on her neck weren’t from an intense sword fight, but actually from her parrot, Crackers. Never phased by this, Captain will always brush off her partners comments; “Come on Doc, thats not quite how I remember it! Yer ruining the story!” followed by a hearty laugh.  

Despite her jolly attitude, Captain will always put on a brave face for her crew if she is ever stressed or concerned. Due to a run in with a real sea beast in her early days as a captain, which resulted in the loss of her left hind leg as well as the loss of many old crew members, she always puts the safety of her crew first above all else. She will never let up that she is ever concerned about a voyage if they are sailing through dangerous waters, and will never open up about her serious injuries in fear of worrying the others, or coming across as weak. Doc is the only pony who knows this more vulnerable side of her, and she plans to keep it that way. 

She is a very diligent captain, and can’t ever imagine life away from the sea. She will always be sure to stop by the sea front tavern for some drinks with her land pals whenever The Glory ends up docking for a while, but it’s never too long before she is rallying everyone up for their next voyage! Captain is one of the best captains sailing the Euponia seas, with a special talent for charting maps and finding buried treasure, reflected by her ’X marks the spot’ cutie mark, there is no voyage too daring for the infamous Captain Jingles!
