MORE PONIES!!!! I wanted to make a proper ref sheet for my pony, Gemini, as she was lacking one and I also wanted to fiddle with her design juuuusssttt a smidge. She was designed by my best friend ELDLILTCH a few years back, originally as a normal equine oc, but I lost connection and decided to turn her into a pony character and boy did that connection come back full force! In the AU i have with my friends, Gemini is princess of the unicorn kingdom, with many responsibilities. She is very sheltered due to her parents being over protective and how busy she is, but she is very bubbly and sweet, a complete chatterbox who spends most of her time day dreaming, even when she is in lessons. For her new ref, I didn’t change her design much, I tweaked her mane style just a smidge, edited her tail colours to better flow with her flank marking, and I got rid of the gold sparkles that were dotted around her body as it made her look way too busy. It worked for her Anthro design, but not well for her pony one! I designed her some royal regalia with sapphire stones embedded in her collar and crown, and I gave her an optional curved horn! I see a couple of my pony ocs having curved horn, Gemini Atria and Princess Solana all do in my mind, but I wanted to make it optional. I feel like when in the G4 show style they would commonly have straight horns, but in any other style, their horn would be curved. The curved horn Is their ‘canon accurate one’, but I’m not too picky which one they’re drawn with!
AAAND for my “new” pony! Everyone say hello to Gold Dust! She is a street dancer! Gold was originally a normal equine oc I made back in 2011. I only drew her once, but she pops into my head very frequently even after all these years, and I thought it would be fun to turn her into a pony! I liked her design, i only wanted to update it just a bit. I feel like the pink streaks in her mane definitely make her more pony!
