⭐️ Searching For Stars | REDRAW (Patreon)

After work last night I started doodling a redraw of this old piece I did 7 years ago of mine and PlanetVCR’s pony ocs! His pony, on the left, is named Polaris, and my pony on the right is named Saltine Star! We’ve shipped these two together for a long long time, well, 7 years! I remember really liking the original piece and I figured it would be fun to come back and re draw it just as a little break before I jump right into working on another commission.

Im pleased with my improvement I must say, it was really nostalgic to redraw this one! Polaris‘ new design is so lovely, Connor did a fantastic job redesigning her, and I’m happy to get to draw the two of the, together more frequently now >:3 

Both of their special talents revolve around stars, with Polaris being a star charter and Salt finding broken stars and fixing them before placing them back up in the sky. I imagine in this scene they’re off on a mission to work together to locate some broken stars and find the perfect place to put them back up once Saltine fixes them. They both feel the same way about one another, and their relationship is very playful but Saltine gets flustered quite easily though she always hides this from Polaris, who is usually oblivious because her head is always in the clouds.
