✏️ Sabermawz Comm WIP 2! (Patreon)

Figured I’d post an update of this big comm for Sabermawz! I took a break from this one over Christmas besides chipping away at some lineart here and there. But now the holidays are done and my taxes are done I can fully focus on it! I’ve been having a lot of fun working on the background today. I’ve never done a full scene like this so it’s definitely a challenge but I’m having an absolute blast!

my iPad is definitely struggling with this one though, poor Procreate keeps crashing and it’s pretty laggy LMAO.a painful reminder that I do need to invest in a newer iPad sooner rather than later. The canvas size is only 2794 x 2245 pixels, but I guess all the detail and layers is giving it some grief. It won’t be too much of an issue though, once ive added shading then I’ll make a version where I merge all the layers and from there I’ll add smaller details and depth by blurring. It’s the only way I’m really able to finish such large pieces like this!
