⭐️Collabs with Frankendogs! + Warrior OC stories (Patreon)

Afternoon all! I’ve been pretty busy, but before I sat down to work on this weeks rewards for my Sparkle Dog Patreons, I thought as a warm up I’d do my sketch for my collab with by buddy Frankendogs on Instagram! Im really pleased with it, so I wanted to share as well as our other collab, which she sketched and I finished up last night. 

First image is the one Ott sketched and I finished - it’s our characters Halfstar (mine - Tom with the half n half face), and Otterscar (hers - Tom with the folded ears)

we’ve been developing our warriors ocs together for a little while now, and I adore how their stories intertwine.

About Halfstar & Otterscar 

Halfstar (then Halfface) and Otterscar we’re born in separate litters around the same time, and grew up together! Otterpaw was Halfpaws only real friend, even into their apprenticeship as the clans medicine cat had recieved a false prophecy from star clan saying that Halfkit’s half and half face was a bad omen. Thus, the rest of the clan avoided him and treated him poorly, but not Otterpaw. Halfpaw’s mentor would barely train him, and use his training as an excuse to bully poor Halfpaw - so Otterpaw would sneak out of camp with Halfpaw to teach him what he had learned from his mentor.
after an unfortunate incident where Otterpaw was captured by two-legs, Halfpaw was heart broken and had to continue on his own , with no one left in his clan to help or defend him. Halfpaw trained on his own, and worked hard day and night to prove himself to his clan. The loss of Otterpaw pushed him to become closed off, and driven. He eventually earned the respect of the clans deputy, and slowly, very slowly, the rest of his clan mates. Halfpaw earned his warrior name, Halfface, but his ceremony felt hollow without Otterpaw there.

eventually, Otterpaw found his way back to his clan, and began telling the story about his capture, and that he had been declawed. Halfface was so happy to see his friend, but distraught to hear about what he had went through. How was Otterpaw meant to earn his warrior name now? Surely, he couldn’t become a warrior without claws?

and he was right. Riverclan’s leader  shoved Otterpaw into the Med cat position almost without a second thought, much to Otterpaw and Halfface’s dismay. 

but even after everything, the two stayed close and eventually a romance started to bloom between the two of them. Halfface would always crawl into the med cat den, whining like a kit over the smallest things - acting like he would bleed to death over a thorn in his pad, just to wind up Otterpaw and spend time with him. 

once Halfface became Halfstar, the two were close as ever. Otterscar would go into Halfstar’s den at night, they would sit and talk, Halfstar wrapping his tail around his secret mate.

About Pigeonfur and Echowish

Pigeonfur is Riverclans current apprentice med cat under Otterscar, and Echowish is Shadowclan’s apprentice med cat. The two caught eyes at Pigeonpaw’s first gathering, and being the complete hopeless romantic she is, Pigeonpaw melted under Echopaw’s gaze. After learning that Echopaw was an apprentice med cat just like her, her heart only fluttered more in her chest. Pigeonpaw would always ask if she could take more herbs to Shadowclan as an excuse to see Echopaw, but it usually just earned her a cuff around the ear by Otterscar.
Pigeonpaw would find herself sneaking off at night to meet with Echopaw, and she would always bring Echo some herbs or flowers she could pick along the way.
Even as she got older, Pigeonfur still loved Echowish, and she always thought they could make it work since they were both med cats, and they were both she-cats, so why not?
But her heart would eventually be broken once she had to take up the position of Riverclan’s fulltime med cat after Otterscar’s death. Only then did she realise that she had to put her clan first.
