So glad we finally got to see Gintoki's sensei, Yoshida Shoyo, and what his school was like. It was also wonderful seeing how Takasugi (and Katsura) met Shoyo and Gintoki, and how they changed him. And wow, the reveal of what led up to Shoyo's untimely end was heartbreaking... Seeing how episode 305 ended, it looks like we're not in the clear just yet... Oboro has returned.

I don't know why it's taking up until now to realize that Takasugi shares the same voice actor as DIO! It's the same voice! It's just less chaotic here. And I've loved both shows for years! This is just Joseph vs. DIO I'm hearing lol!

What I like about the reveals in these 2 episodes, is that it puts Gintoki's whole demeanor in the show up until now into a whole new light. His strong desire to protect his new family as well as his general goofy demeanor. The former is self-explanatory, but the latter, I like to theorize that he really doubled down on his goofy side to help him cope with the trauma he experienced having to kill his own master that he loved so much. Man, I love this show much and glad to see that you feel the same. There is SOOOO much more to experience even after this arc, that it may feel overwhelming. Hang in there!
