When it comes to serious arcs I think this one is one of the most underrated. The Hijikata/Isaburo fight scene looked so gorgeous; and all the humour, animation, emotions, the litte Takasugi tease, just really nice + the fact that it's Shinsengumi focused!

Agreed! And it's not very often we get a Shinsengumi arc where they can seriously show off how badass they are, so it was awesome that we got to see them like this!
