Motherboard Error Code 99 is proving to be trickier than I thought. Though I was using it earlier today, when I came home and booted it up again, my PC turned on but with no display whatsoever. Both RAM sticks are being read, GPU is working (or at least the fans are spinning and it’s lighting up), CMOS has been reset. My only guess now is the motherboard itself, or maybe the processor that could be causing the issue? Either way, I’m going to be PC-less yet again until I can get a professional to look at it and zero in or the actual issue. Hopefully I can find someone nearby that can look at it this weekend, but if not, next week’s shows might be delayed.

Thats a bad one to get cause its almost assuredly a hardware issue. Its also hard to troubleshoot cause it can be a multitude of things. you can always Occam's razor it though and go with the simplest explanation: If for some reason your pc moved (maybe you bumped into it) then its probably simply a loose cable. If nothing physically happened to the pc then its electrical and maybe a faulty cmos battery or the psu isnt properly grounded? Either way it's a tough issue to resolve. Wish you luck.

This has been so frustrating. I've never had to deal with something like this. I was hoping this was going to be a simple little fix. I've even looked up cases like mine who have gotten the same error code and theres have been something as simple as plugging into different power outlets or unplugging their USB hub, or something else ridiculously simple. Just isn't my week. Lol
