Heads up for patrons that might have experienced billing issues (Patreon)

Hello, I thought about whether it was preferable to contact some of you directly or just to make a general post about it, and decided it might be in the best interest to make a public post in case some other patrons in the future run into the same issue.

Last month for the first time ever I saw some issues with the billing cycle, specifically some longtime supporters of the project whose transactions had been flagged as Fraud. In my experience sometimes when billing issues happen on here it's when credit cards/payment methods are not updated (ie: a card expired and you got a new one) or in the case of some countries/banks sometimes you need to authorize Patreon charges with your bank.

So if you find yourself in this situation don't hesitate to contact Patreon support to get this flagging sorted, because there's little I can do from the creator side of things. 

I know that some people that got flagged last month have been supporting my art for years, so I am sure that it is not an actual case of fraud and it's probably an issue with the billing or something, because I have interacted with some of you via DM and honestly no one supports a project for years just to do something like that out of the blue (and several people at the same time too), that's just some weird timing and coincidence and I trust my supporters.
