Lei's Redesign - Tactics Café Design Poll (Patreon)

Last month the monthly design poll was replaced with a TC Comic poll but this month, we're back again with the second TC Design Poll!

This time around we're tackling Lei's redesign, with the poll focusing on what her new outfit will be!

With her original design, I believe the idea behind it was solid, cute smol magical cat girl with wings who acts as the sidekick to TC's main character Io. But when putting the design to practice there were some parts of it that just didn't work, primarily the weird cape wings, her ears not having differently coloured tufts and her overall outfit. 

I'm extremely happy with this redesign instead. Between the new outfit looking more whimsical and almost fairy like, and the real wings they both provide a big boost in pushing the "magical" part of her design, as it clearly shows she isn't just any regular old cat girl, though unfortunately even she herself doesn't have an answer due to her memory loss. 

The overall shape of her hair has been improved too, in the original concept art it looked squished, whereas now it definitely conveys the puffiness I wanted it to do so, plus the white tufts coming out of her ear provide a great distinction between the hair and cat ears. 

The poll is going to be about deciding her new outfit's final look and colour scheme. Which outfit between A and B do you like the most? Make sure to vote!
