Hey all, with the release of humanity it poses the important question. What is the greatest dog in video games? Also thanks to Janet for recommending "A Little Wordy" a few podcasts back. It's a game my Wife and I play most nights now.

Hey everyone, have you ever gotten into a podcast later in its life and attempted to go back and listen to all of the episodes? I recently caved in and started listening to Blank Check and decided to start from the beginning. I’m currently still in their Star Wars era and loving it!

I've been wondering, considering the universal popularity, appreciation or just curiosity about Zelda the world has right now, is Zelda the Beatles of video game franchises? Just sheer universal acclaim and at bare minimum appreciation. I'm not a big Zelda or Beatles person, but they're both undeniable.

Hey CLCs, I was curious what advice you would give to someone that wants to engage in the community or any online community more? I love this community so much but engaging in the discord and commenting even on this post has some kind of weird mental block for me. Has that ever happened to you all? Any advice? Thank you!

Hey Ben H. and son, and the CLC’s Sorry for the wordy question but its good I promise. Every once in a while there is a game that comes out that feels like an event. When a game like Elden ring, botw, or totk releases. breaks out of our little social gaming sphere and becomes a phenomenon. These are games I like to call “time and place” games, Because the launch of these games become a time stamp for that point in your life. For perspective (and to celebrate a betterquest goal) Botw released when I was in high school, and Totk released the day before I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree this past weekend. What are some “time and place” games for you? Thanks!

I’ve been scratching my noggin, what are some video game mechanics that seemed like they would be big but never saw the light of day after one day? For me in LA Noire’s facial reading system, I thought this would pioneer a wave of detective/mystery games. Imagine a AAA Sherlock Holmes game where you explore a densely packed city and solve complex where crimes that you require you to think, analyze, decide what happened while dealing with the conquenses. Just a thought.

Hey Minnmaxers, do you have any fan fiction-y ideas you have thought extensively on for a sequel to your favorite game? For example, I’ve an idea for a Persona game where the big end mystery involves a high school reunion, something similar to the plot of It(book/movie).

Hey Minnmaxers! Nicholas Cage just got announced that he’s coming to Dead by Daylight……what!?!?! My question to you is what celebrity would you want in a game(any game)? I know self touted celebrity lover Ben Hanson is jumping at this question

Hi MMers! In recent years, we've seen a big push in the industry to remove crunch and from the development process of games. So why haven’t we seen that in the games press? Zelda: TotK is no short game and journalists are putting 60-70+ hours into it in one week to make deadlines. You often hear how most time spent playing the games are at home, off the clock. So why are writers and content creators exhausting themselves for a few extra clicks?

Hey y'all, hope you're doing well! Do any of you take notes or keep a journal about games you play? As someone who has trouble with focusing and managing my time I've been working on keeping lists for my work, chores, and hobbies, and only recently started applying it to games that I play. I mark down goals I want to accomplish in game and cross them off as I go, or I just write down things that I achieved. So far it seems to help me stay excited about new games and give myself an extra sense of progression, especially in non-linear or sandboxy games. Do you have any other methods you use to enhance your gaming experience?

Jacob, can you explain to everyone why they should stop playing Zelda and go play The Darkness 2 instead?

You are tasked with picking the art style for the new Zelda movie! What entry in the franchise do you take inspiration from? Do you got Wind Waker? Breadth of the Wild/TotK? Something grittier like Twilight Princess?

I'd love a 2D movie in the style of Studio Ghibli! Ever since seeing that 20-second intro to the Link's Awakening remake, I've yearned for at least an official short film in that style. Just 10 or 20 minutes would satisfy me enough!
