What form of entertainment has provided the most meaningful connection? We obviously love games, but I have acknowledge that music has been my strongest and deepest connection over the years, followed closely by books. Oh how love my books! What say you?!?

What do you think is worse: when movie (or game ?) trailers spoil major plot points or when they spoil jokes?

Hi team, there is a game me, my parents, and a few of my friends have played every day this year. WORDLE. This is unprecedented for me, and I bet a lot of people since the wii. Is there a chance this game is ending up on anyone's 2 10's this year?

Hi Bennisota & friends! Who do you think would be a better fit for Mario? I think we can all agree that Chris Pratt is a pretty meh choice for the role. I got to talking with my partner about who would be a better fit. She brought up that Nintendo/Illumination want an A-list celeb so they can get more non gamers interested in the Film. I tried to think of one but struggled to come up with anyone that met those parameters: they gotta be on the same level of fame as Pratt, and they could actually do a better job than him. There's tons of just as famous boring dudes who can probably do as good a job, but I struggle to think of anyone who'd actually better. Meanwhile there's a bunch of people who I imagine would be a much better fit for the role, e.g. almost any actual voice actor, but who dont have the star power the studios need in order to be realistically considered. What do you all think? Who would the best actor for Mario be, given these constraints? Am I completely forgetting an obvious choice? And I guess secondarily, putting aside the $$$ aspect, what characteristics do you think would make the perfect VA for the iconic plumber? First question so go easy on my loquaciousness 😓 and thanks for being such a cool community!

Missed correct pronunciation opportunity: Last week there was quite some talk of the game 'SCHiM', but I'm here to tell you it's Dutch (and so is the developer), and the pronunciation is not Skim or Shim, but has a Dutch hard 'g' sound not found in other languages. Here's the correct pronunciation: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/25/Nl-schim.ogg .

I take issue with your greatest works of all time list. It is awfully english-language centered. Even translated works don't count because once you translate it to English it effectively becomes a new piece of art. The same applies to songs. Your list is invalid unless you become fluent in every language. Therefore, I contend that the 1972 Ukrainian televisión film Chervona Ruta and Calle 13's Atreve-te are the greatest works of art of all time and you can't argue otherwise.

Hi Minnmax crew, I am wondering what the team's take is on the whole Bayonetta 3 situation? I fully support voice actors and actresses being paid handsomely for their important work. However, Jason Schreier from bloomberg is reporting there may be more to the story than the $4,000 dollar offer that the internet has been reacting to. I was outraged when I first heard Hellena Taylor's claims, but I'm open to having my mind changed when new evidence emerges (especially evidence from a credible source like Jason). There are so many hard working individuals that that spent so much time making this game. What if those individuals are paid based on sales numbers? I'm hesitant to boycott the work of many based on the claims of one. Should I support it? What are your thoughts? Thanks so much, Jake

Hi minnmaxxers, I preordered bayonetta 3 December 2018! Now the game is finally going to be released. Did you ever preorder a game and have to wait a long time for the release? What was the game and how long did you wait? Was it worth the wait?

Now that the Kinda Funny Spare Bedroom has been revealed, when is Minnmax going to invest in a crazy setup like that? Janet, you were there in person, how does it compare in real life?

Does it matter that Overwatch 2 is mostly just Overwatch 1 when the game is still so damn fun to play? I uninstalled Overwatch 2 after playing a few games and thinking "omg, this is just the first game with nothing new." A few days later I reinstalled it after realizing I liked the feeling of playing Overwatch again, and now it's my go-to game for the time being.

Hey Ben and crew, Surprised to not hear you guys talk much about Rings of Power yet. Did any of you watch it and what did you think now that the season is over? I personally loved it. Some people claimed it was too slow but I enjoyed the world-building and character development over constant action.

Hey Minnmax, if you could shoot any condiment from your index finger what would it be? I'd probably pick Grey Poupon, I've been in a big mustard mood these days.
